While our founders set the vision, it’s our tutors who truly bring it to life—approachable, energetic, and genuinely invested in every student’s progress. Our Tutors
Sahanna
Sahanna is a dedicated tutor and graduate of the University of Guelph-Humber, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology, graduating with distinction. Holding a Diploma in General Arts & Science, as well as a certificate in Organizational Behaviour, she exhibits a strong academic foundation and insight into how students learn. In addition, Sahanna completed French Immersion in high school earning her French Certificate, allowing her to confidently support students in French language learning.
Grace
Grace holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from the
University of British Columbia and has worked in diverse roles, including
data engineering, teaching English in Mexico, and tutoring. Through these
experiences, she developed a strong aptitude for explaining complex ideas
and a passion for helping students reach those rewarding "I get it!"
moments. Her teaching focuses on deepening understanding of core concepts,
developing reliable problem-solving habits, and building confidence to
tackle challenging questions independently. Outside of work, Grace enjoys
reading and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
Devin
Devin is a current student in the Fire Protection Engineering Technology program at Seneca Polytechnic. His studies focus heavily on applied mathematics, technical calculations and analytical problem-solving. His curriculum has strengthened his ability to break down complex concepts into clear, practical steps – an approach that enhances how he teaches math. With a solid understanding of practical math, he offers tutoring tailored to individual learning needs. Devin takes a clear, structured approach to teaching and is committed to helping students build confidence and succeed academically.
Mickael
Mickael is a third-year student at Toronto Metropolitan University, pursuing a Biomedical Sciences degree, with a strong academic background and foundation in mathematics and science. He has over six years of tutoring experience, and he has worked with students across a range of levels, supporting both academic improvement and confidence building.
Mickael’s teaching strategy focuses on developing a proper understanding of basic concepts by breaking down complex issues into simple and tractable steps. He develops his teaching strategy according to each student's learning requirements and emphasizes building strong fundamentals in problem-solving and critical thinking.
Mickael supports students in Mathematics, Science, and English, including English ESL. He believes in developing a learning environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.
Serena
Serena is a graduate of Western University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Studies. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with students and creating a supportive environment where open communication is encouraged. Serena believes that every student learns differently and enjoys finding ways to use each student’s strengths to make learning engaging, positive, and enjoyable. Driven by her passion for education and helping students grow, Serena will be attending teachers college this upcoming fall to further pursue her goal of becoming an educator. Outside of her academic and professional interests, Serena enjoys reading, staying active at the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
Shelina
Shelina has completed a double major in Economics and Psychology with a minor in Philosophy at the University of Toronto. She completed her law degree at the University of Kent in England. She's passionate about helping students build confidence and excel academically. Born and raised in Canada she is currently completing her licensing so that she can practice law. She loves tutoring students and watching their eyes brighten as they comprehend topics they once found difficult. She brings strong analytical and communication skills to every tutoring session.
She supports students in Math, English, Economics, Law, Psychology, Philosophy, and Social Sciences-offering clear explanations, effective study strategies, and personalized guidance.

Dal
Dal graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. She went onto become a Dental Hygienist, graduating from Niagara College. She has always had a passion for teaching and pursues that through tutoring. Dal is tutoring dental hygiene courses, sciences and math.
Karissa
Karissa has an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from Trinity Western University and is currently completing an MSc at UBC. She has been a teaching assistant for genetics and food science courses. Karissa has a passion to help students with High School Science. Biology and Chemistry are her forte. She will attend Teachers College in the Fall. Karissa likes to play board games and video games. She enjoys horseback riding and watching reality shows. She is also very fond of aquatics and has an aquarium.
Padmavathi
Padmavathi is an OCT certified teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching Mathematics, Science, and Chemistry. She is passionate about helping students understand concepts clearly and build confidence in their academic abilities. Padmavathi creates a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in lessons. Children enjoy learning with her because of her patient, friendly, and supportive teaching style. She focuses on strengthening fundamental concepts, improving problem-solving skills, and encouraging curiosity in learning. Her goal is to help every student achieve academic success and develop a lifelong love for learning.
David
David is a University of Waterloo graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and an option in Management Science. His areas of expertise include Grade 9–12 Mathematics at the University, College, and AP levels, as well as university‑level calculus, physics, and technical courses within electrical engineering.
He has been tutoring since high school, where he regularly supported friends and classmates through after‑school sessions in math and science. Over the years, he has developed a strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and problem‑solving techniques, and is planning to pursue a Master of Engineering to continue expanding his knowledge.His teaching approach focuses on creating personalized, clear, and structured lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. Whether you’re looking to build foundational skills or tackle challenging advanced topics, David is committed to helping you gain confidence and excel in your studies.
Ryan
Ryan is a current student at the University of Waterloo pursuing an education in Pure Mathematics. His studies focus on mathematical proofs and logic, and have taught him a deep understanding of math, including problem-solving strategies that can be applied at all levels. He has worked as a volunteer math tutor before, so he has experience helping students analyze and solve math questions. He believes that with the right mindset and approach, all students can not only understand all math, but also excel in math, and form a strong understanding of the subject. He is very friendly, patient, and kind, and will tailor his tutoring to the needs of the students. His dream job is to become a math professor as he loves helping out students. Outside of school, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and staying active by running.
Adita
Adita is a graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts and Applied Human Sciences in Psychology. Throughout her undergraduate degree, she has developed effective strategies to support student learning and growth, with a strong focus on fostering positive, inclusive educational environments. She holds a certificate in Principles of Healthy Child Development. She is passionate about working with and inspiring young children, especially elementary-aged students in grades K-8. Adita supports students across a variety of subjects, including math, reading, writing, science, and social studies, tailoring her approach to meet diverse learning styles. She is dedicated to helping students build confidence, step outside of their comfort zones, and reach their full potential. With her strong communication skills, she strives to engage both students and families in the learning process. She plans to attend teachers' college and pursue a career as an educator.

Mario graduated from McMaster University's Math Program in 2015, where he honed his skills as a Teaching Assistant. With over a decade of experience, he's worked with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles, helping them conquer math and life's challenges. He believes in sharing knowledge and empowering students to succeed – both in math and beyond.
